working with pets, mostly dogs however I have worked with cats as well. Most of my experience has generally come from growing up with dogs and volunteering at some of the Delaware SPCA locations. I started volunteering at the age of 13 with my grandmother. I was responsible for an array of tasks such as: sweeping, cleaning cages, feeding, walking and playing with the cats and dogs and eventually worked my way up to showing the animals to prospects interested in adopting. The SPCA taught me how to interact with an array of pet personalities: relaxed, timid, and even aggressive. I enjoy interacting with animals so much that I am considering attending courses to become a Veterinary Assistant.
