I like caring for seniors because the sad truth is that seniors; when in nursing homes, can be looked at not as people but as tasks. That's why I prefer the more personal companionship approach to care. I would prefer a live-in opportunity. As well as a family willing to meet and discuss the progress and development of care as I work with them. My work depends on quality, and the best way to achieve that is to work together to provide the best care possible. With seniors I believe an approach of love and compassion is beneficial. Getting to know them, and participating in their hobbies and experiences, strengthen their quality of life and lead them to better mental health. I'm a musician, I play piano, guitar and sing. I enjoy writing and studying niche topics as well. I'm skilled in cooking, cleaning, transfers, scheduling, planning, and medicine tracking.
