I have worked for assisted living and memory care facilities for over 6 years. I have also worked one on one for an Alzheimer's patient. I enjoy working with the elderly and I am one of the few who really cares for them. It's not just a job to me, but I am someone who actually cares. I went from doing housekeeping to activities director, to driving the residents to their doctor's appointments, to also taking them to stores and the parks on Wednesdays and out to eat. That is where my heart is, to help them and to be there for them and to look out for them.
