About Angela

Hi, I'm new to Houston and am excited about working with families here. I have three years of babysitting experience. I have also worked with kids in different capacities over the years: as a swim instructor, a part- time daycare worker, and most recently, as a substitute teacher at elementary schools. I am available for weeknight or weekend gigs. I have a lot of experience working with children 4 and up. I am currently finishing up my doctorate program in art history, and while I'm not an artist myself, I do love arts and crafts activities. I am comfortable with gentle parenting and believe in open communication about how to support a safe space for your family. In terms of activities, I love outdoor time, swimming, exploring parks, libraries and museums, and playing board games with kids. I am CPR and First Aid certified.
