Hello! I am a registered nurse who graduated with my bachelors degree in the science of nursing. I started my child health care career focus in high school when I completed the series of child development classes. I have an educated background regarding all areas of special needs and child developmental milestones. I also have 4 years experience of home health care while attending nursing school. I have worked with patients who are non-verbal who communicate through body language and hand gestures. I have also worked with patients who are paraplegic, blind, Down syndrome, and autistic. I find working with individuals who have special needs is a fun and upbeat learning experience for everyone involved in the care. As a nurse, I enjoy getting to know each patient as best as I can so I can better provide care for them. I am an enthusiastic nurse who lives to put smiles on my patients faces while I learn how to be the best care giver possible.
