About Angela

I have a large personal focus on developmentally appropriate activity, as well as creative and entertaining approaches to care. I have completed an Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Education, and have done focused training in Psychology and Sociology, as well as working with children with Exceptionalities. One of my first goals is helping children to understand themselves, and the world around them. A Nanny is different from a babysitter: rather than just a temporary care-giver, they are a teacher and a guide through important milestones, just like a child's parents and guardians. I introduce age-appropriate concepts for dealing with their problems, such as emotional regulation or conflicts, and answer their questions about how and why things work, both within their bodies and in the world they live in.
