About Angela

I have worked with the elderly in nursing homes as an LPN for 5 years. I love caring for others and this is what made me want to go into nursing. However, nursing as an LPN is a lot more focused on getting tasks done passing meds and documenting than spending a lot of time with the patients. I would love to have to ability to spend quality time with an individual and provide exceptional care physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I enjoy communicating to the best of both of our abilities with dementia and Alzheimer's patients, and getting to know who they truly are. I know how important it is to engage and stimulate these wonderful people, and at different stages to help guide and encouage. I have been there for those who are passing, and feel honored to be a part of their end of life care and making it as dignified and loving and peaceful as possible. I currently do home care for one woman for four hours a day and am looking to take another person into my life's passion
