I have been a caregiver for seniors for five years. I truly love my job and the people I care for. Having a job that I enjoy so much is rewarding in so many ways. Helping them to do the things that they are no longer capable of doing such as preparing meals, helping them shower and dress, giving them medications, driving them to Dr appointment, shopping and mostly just being their companion makes care giving such a wonderful job. I am experienced with caring for diabetics and seniors that have dementia/Alzheimer. Familiar with seniors who are immobile and need help transferring from bed to wheelchair and vice versa. I lost my own grandmother whom I loved dearly and helped care for in her last years of her life. I suppose that is how I got into this field of care giving. Again, I really enjoy it very much.
