My experience started at an early age. I had a neighbor that was blind, I would go over and help him with his meals and clean up for him. After getting my Certification as a Nursing Assistant, my first job was working in a nursing home, which I done that for about 7 yrs. After I was introduced to home care, I never stop. I have went into families home and help them with baths, feedings, cleaning, transportation, monitering blood sugars and BP, assisting with medication and countless others. I was once call the Patient Whisper by a client family member, which the patient had Dementia. I know how to connect to their world and make it fun . I have also work with mentally challenged.
