I have a great deal of patience and understanding. Family, friends and former employers say that I am naturally compassionate, attentive and nurturing. My caregiver days began with caring for my mom when I was young. In 1997 I became certified by DHS to work with the developmentally disabled, I later added the certifications of home health aide, long term care and nurse aide. I have been doing private care for almost 15 years with experience in total care, rehabilitation, Alzheimer's / dementia as well as diabetic and hypertension meal Preps. Recently lost a patient that I had been providing care to for five years. Due to allergies I do not work in homes with pets or smoking.
