I'd describe my personality as nurturing, devoted, and honest. I like caring for seniors because I've always enjoyed the stories and perspectives that seniors share. I find that there is so much to learn from their life experiences. I'm looking for a job that I can make a difference in someone's life. I started caring for seniors when I began working in a nursing home in 2008 and after my grandma became sick. In my spare time, I like to do art, go antique shopping, and cook. One thing you should know about me is I am a patient, creative professional looking to transition my skills into companion care. I truly enjoy the company of seniors and am happy to help with everything from engaging conversation and creative activities to light meal prep and household organization. My skills include light household management and organization, strong observational skills with a focus on safety and well-being, and engaging companion focused on cognitive and social stimulation.
