About Angela

Hello families! My legal name is Angela, but I go by River. I am a 30-year-old nanny living in Bend, Oregon with many years of childcare experience. For the past two years I have been a full-time nanny for a baby in Bend, supporting them from infancy into toddlerhood. Before that, I cared for a 5-year-old girl and 9-year-old boy for two years. Earlier in my career I worked as a nanny within a small intentional community in Eugene where I helped care for six children, and I was also a preschool teacher for two years at a small in-home preschool. I have experience with newborns through school-aged children. I am bilingual in Spanish and grew up in Mexico. I am infant CPR and First Aid certified and have completed 56 credit hours in childhood development and psychology. I'm also a passionate cook and pastry chef and love preparing healthy, organic meals. I value nurturing relationships with children and families and often stay connected with the kids I care for as they grow.
