About Angela

Hello, My legal name is Angela, but I'm known as River. I am a 30-year-old woman who lives in Bend, OR. I am moving to Bellingham, WA to go to the nursing program at Bellingham Technical College. I hope to specialize in pediatrics. I love children and I have been a committed nanny to a baby in Bend for 1. 5 years, prior to this I was a nanny in Bend for a 5-year-old girl and 9-year-old boy for 2 years. Previously, I worked as a nanny in Eugene at a small intentional community where I cared for 6 children. All of these children have become like family to me, and I keep in touch with them after they move onto other care (usually school!) I was a preschool teacher for 2 years at a small in home preschool as well, and I have experience nannying one on one with newborns and toddlers. I am bilingual in Spanish, and I grew up in Mexico. I also am a pastry chef and cook and would love to incorporate healthy, organic, whole food meal prep in my daily duties as needed.
