I owned and operated my own group daycare and preschool/summer camp for nearly 20 years. Within that time I created a huge community of families that still keep in touch and support each other to this day. I retired in 2015 from that but miss the hustle of a busy day. I love being around children and/or teens in any capacity: challenging their thinking and helping them grow into new, better versions of themselves. I have been substituting in several schools districts but it's not as rewarding as I expected. I can connect and bond with children/teens quickly and make them feel safe and loved. I am available for emergency/sick care. My immune system is rock solid. I love being able to rescue/aid a family in need and fill the holes. Its my super power and my kryptonite. Angela has been such an incredible blessing to our family. The only reason our time with her is coming to an end is because we’re moving. If I could pack her up and bring her with us, I absolutely would. It would be such a gift for our daughter to have Angela remain a constant in her life. She is warm, engaging, endlessly patient, and truly wonderful with children. Her knowledge of child development is evident in everything she does, from the way she interacts with our daughter to the thoughtful activities she plans to help her learn and grow. She has an amazing ability to make every day fun while also fostering confidence, curiosity, and independence. Beyond being an exceptional nanny, Angela has become a natural part of our family. We trust her completely, and she has cared for our daughter with so much love, attentiveness, and joy. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have her.
