About Andrew

I have 15 years of experience in public education, including 7 years as a classroom teacher and 8 years as a Learning Specialist serving Pre-K through 4th grade. I have also held 3 special-needs care-giving positions. My philosophy is to build meaningful, positive, and professional relationships with those I serve. My strengths include communication, patience, empathy, adaptability, and a commitment to learning. I have volunteered as a Special Olympics basketball judge and district mentor, supporting students who benefit from positive adult role models. I have also been involved in campus safety, chess, running, football, and leadership activities. I live in Allen with my wife, son, and two dogs. I enjoy nutrition, swimming, strength training, movies, and traveling with my family. Thank you for your consideration.
