I am a California-registered Independent Home Care Aide with CPR and First Aid certification. I have experience with cognitively compromised seniors, visiting them in their homes. My work has included grocery shopping, preparing meals, kitchen cleanup and other housekeeping, transport to medical and other appointments, encouraging active mobility, monitoring medications and hydration, communicating with family, helping with pets and technology, and providing mental stimulation. I have a Valid CA Driver's license with a perfect driving record, an auto with full insurance coverage, and a recent negative TB test. I am in excellent health with no limits to my own mobility or activities. I am a US citizen. I hold a BA and MA degree in Social Sciences. I am a former college teacher and marketing manager. I speak (limited) conversational French as well as my native language, English. I enjoy meal preparation and enjoy reading to my clients. Please note that I work with non-smokers only.
