I have taught middle and high school French for 11 years. My interest in the promotion of the French language and cultural awareness of the French-speaking world stems from the fact that I am of Quebecois descent and was exposed to the French language from an early age as a result of growing up in a bilingual French and English speaking community in New Hampshire. During my career as a French teacher, I have served as the exclusive French teacher for the Longleaf School of the Arts, Terry Sanford High School, Raymond High School (NH), and Profile Senior High School (NH). I, with the help of my students, have worked diligently through self-designed curriculum at these schools. This process has allowed my students and me to test new ideas and foster curiosity, motivation, and the desire to learn. Additionally, I was entrusted with writing both the curriculum and the competencies for French levels 1-3 for the Raymond School District. I have my teaching license in French from the NCDPI.

As a teacher and a dad, Andrew is a fun and caring person with excellent skills for both encouraging engagement and maintaining a safe environment. He has had experience with kids of all ages, and is quite adept at acting like a playful kid himself. Also, his wide range of responsibilities throughout his career make him a particularly suitable manager of people, time, and space. Andrew is a spirited guy with a warm heart and joy of life for working with children, and he "gets" how to communicate with them.
