About Andrena

Hello! my name is Andrena, and I have worked as an Elementary Teacher for 4 years. Though I am no longer in the classroom, I love being able to use my unique background and caring spirit to be a blessing to others however possible. Of course, I am experienced in caring for elementary-aged children, but am comfortable with kids of all ages. I was a short-term nanny twice during college. My first job was with a baby girl (1) and my second job was with two brothers (3 and 5). However, I've probably learned the most while spending time with my five nephews under 5! My desire is to give your child a safe, routine-based, and creative space in which they can grow into their best selves. I love planning crafts, sensory/physical activities, as well as encouraging independent time. I always act with kindness and positive reinforcement, but when challenges do arise, I will partner with you to find the most appropriate solution.
