About Andrea

I'd describe my personality as curious, encouraging, and reliable I love seeing the moment a concept finally clicks for a student. While doing research at MIT, I helped kids with science projects, supported the STEAM Ahead program, and regularly gave young visitors of my lab tours of our robots. I bring this same hands-on excitement to every tutoring session. I am a scientific researcher, I'm about to graduate with two bachelors degrees (Statistics and Psychology) and I am currently applying to PhD programs in human-computer interaction, so spare time is rare! But when I do have it, I love reading, writing, and learning about topics beyond my expertise in cognitive neuroscience and statistical mathematics I'm fully bilingual in English and Spanish, so I can tutor in either language and communicate comfortably with Spanish-Speaking families
