Experience: 3 yrs
Hi! My name is Andrea, I'm 27 years old, and I've been working as a nanny for over three years, caring for both infants and toddlers. I've been based in New York during that time and have built strong experience along with excellent references. I'm excited to bring my knowledge and care to families in the Rhode Island and Massachusetts area. I have experience working a consistent 9-5 schedule, as well as helping with date nights and weekends. I love creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow, whether that's through arts and crafts, trips to the playground, or visits to the library. I am trained in first aid and CPR certified, so your child's safety is always my top priority. I truly understand that being a nanny means becoming a trusted part of the family, and I take pride in being someone who is patient, reliable, and supportive in helping the littlest minds develop and thrive.
Andrea began working with our family when our son was under one year old, shortly after we had moved to a new town. We felt incredibly lucky to find her during such a transitional time. From the beginning, she was warm, dependable, and an excellent communicator. Andrea is wonderful with young children—attentive, playful and engaging. Our son was always excited to see her, and we could tell he felt safe, happy, and cared for in her presence. Andrea has a natural way with children, but also a thoughtful approach that reflects a real understanding of child development. One thing we especially appreciated was how she spoke with our son. She was consistently patient and respectful, helping him learn boundaries in a calm, age-appropriate way while also encouraging confidence and positive self-talk. She was also flexible with our schedule and helpful with different kinds of tasks—comfortable driving him, taking him to the library and other activities, preparing food, and adapting to our family’s changing needs. Most importantly, she was safety-conscious. After more than a year, we are very sad to say goodbye as she moves to another state, though we are happy for her and wish her all the best in this next chapter. Any family would be fortunate to have her, and we recommend her wholeheartedly.
