Hi, my name is Andrea and I am 20 years old. I grew up in Norwalk in a bilingual household; I speak both English and Spanish. I graduated high school in 2022 and decided not to attend college. For the past couple of years I have been working in childcare. I started working at the Darien YMCA in October of 2022. Through the Y, I have worked with children as young as 8 weeks old to kids nearing middle school. My patient and creative personality has allowed me to thrive in childcare. Fostering relationships with kids is truly rewarding. It's an absolute pleasure being able to watch them grow up and having even a tiny role in their development. Outside of work, I tend to spend my time painting, reading, and hiking. I am flexible and reliable; always committing 100% to any task I take on.
