This entails transportation, companionship, light cooking & cleaning, feeding, transfers, personal care (hygiene, incontinence, checking glucose levels, breathing treatments & medication management). I lived with & cared for my elderly father for three years until sadly he passed away in Jan'24. My caregiving job before my father was with a family for 5 yrs caring for both husband (various health ailments) & wife (Dementia) until they both passed away. I helped out a woman with Parkinson's disease in Oakhurst last summer. That job ended when she relocated to Utah to be near her daughter. Andrea was hired as a caregiver for our father. She is an amazing caregiver. Andrea is reliable, professional, very skilled in caregiving, punctual, honest, dependable, and pleasant. Our father had strokes, advanced Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease. Andrea is very capable in handling all facets of his care; from shaving, showering, teethbrushing, combing his hair, preparing healthy meals three times a day, as well as snacks, making sure he take his medications, and assisting in dressing him. She also did housekeeping, changed his sheets, washed and put away his clothes, grocery shopped, took him to his appointments, and was a great companion. If you are looking for a caregiver, Andrea is your hire!
