About Andrea

Hi, my name is Andrea and I am currently attending UTEP. I am majoring in Education with a minor in psychology and bilingual education. My goal is to eventually become an elementary school teacher at one of our local schools here in El Paso. I also have 3 years of experience working with children ranging from 3 years old to 16 years old both within academic settings and outside of academic setting(youth camps, summer camps. etc.) I'd describe my personality as outgoing, cautious, and creative ! I like working with kids because teaching is something I ultimately want to do for a long time. Having the ability to connect and make an impact is something meaningful. I started working with kids when I was 19! My skills include communication, patience, and empathy.
