About Andrea

I am a patient and confident caregiver with 20+ years of experience working with children of all ages as a substitute teacher, a preschool associate, a special education paraprofessional, and in youth and children's ministries. My bachelor's degree in youth ministry is supplemented by early childhood coursework, CPR and First Aid. I am seeking a long-term, full-time (30-40 hours) position where I can build relationships and support a nurturing home environment for children. I enjoy planning activities that foster a love of learning and support a child's innate curiosity about the world around them. I also like to create environments safe for exploration and free play. My strengths include taking initiative, strong communication skills, and a passion to positively influence the growth and development of children.
