About Andrea

I'd describe my personality as a good communicator, patient, easy to get along with and very dependable. I like working with children because they bring me great joy and I like to watch them progress through their different stages. I like to help teach them things and make them laugh. I like to set boundaries with kindness and understanding and encourage them to be independent and confident in their abilities. I enjoy engaging in play time and reading books to them. I started working with children when my own kids were becoming older and more independent. I've really been enjoying it and it comes naturally to me as I raised my own daughter and son by myself. I've worked for 3 families over the last year with children ranging from 4 months to 5 years. I have experience with bottles, diapers, naps, introducing solids and light house keeping. I have my own transportation, I'm certified in CPR and First Aid, I'm a non-smoker, I have an Associate's Degree and I'm a huge animal lover.
