About Andrea

I'd describe my personality as responsible, caring, and empathetic. I like working with kids because it's a privilege to be able to work with children and to nurture each individuals imagination and creativity. I started working with kids as early as high school. I was a youth counselor babysitting in primary classes and teaching. From there my passion grew into pursuing a career in teaching and graduating with a degree in elementary education. Along the way working at a private elementary school and working as a behavioral therapist in the Santa Clara County. And my personal favorite experience gained along the way is being able to raise my two young children. In my spare time, I like to read, paint, draw, and hike with my family. One thing you should know about me is that when I care for your children it's as if I am caring for my own. My skills include patience, understanding, and overall communication with the child and within the family.
