With three years of experience supporting elementary students in Math and English, I prioritize building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning over simple memorization. I create an engaging, patient environment by actively observing how each student interacts with new material, allowing me to adapt my methods--whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or collaborative discussion. When concepts become challenging, I break problems into manageable steps and connect lessons to real-world interests to maintain momentum. I believe consistent communication with families is essential for building trust and tracking progress. My favorite part of tutoring is witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a new skill. I hold CPR training and First Aid certifications.
