Hello! My name is Andrea, and I am a newly retired elementary teacher located in Chandler, Arizona. I would describe my personality as friendly, positive, and energetic. I love working with kids because there is so much joy in caring for them, seeing them grow, and engaging them in fun activities. I started working with kids when I was 14. I was a certified babysitter throughout high school. While in college, I worked part-time at a preschool, and continued babysitting for families on weekends. I have been an elementary school teacher ever since I graduated from college. I went on to get my masters degree in curriculum and instruction. I still babysit occasionally for families that I have met through teaching. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, go to the movies, read, and travel. One thing you should know about me is I absolutely love children! My skills include experience with all ages, creativity, and patience.

Andrea is truly a gift to any child that is ever under her care. She was my girls 1st and 3rd grade teacher and every student in the school always wished to be put in her class. She cares about the every kid/student as if they were her own and makes them feel heard, appreciated and special all while teaching academic and general life lessons. She has also watched my girls outside of the school setting and in extracurricular music activities. She was awarded teacher of the year on many occasions and she has students graduating high school that still reach out to tell her what a beautiful impact she made on them. She is kind, energetic, and communicative. I would not hesitate to hire Andrea. In fact I am certain that she will be highly requested!
