Hi there! My name is Andrea. I'm a student majoring in child psychology at Ohlone College. I plan on becoming a behavioral therapist for children with special needs. Throughout middle and high school, I participated in clubs and classes specifically for kids with special needs. I befriended many of my special-needs peers and helped them often with schoolwork and socialization skills. Every special needs kid is very different, so I've learned to be very patient, compassionate, and accommodating with their needs. I like to find out what makes them tick and what works best for each individual. I'm really passionate about helping special needs kids because they're all so unique, and they each deserve the happiness and opportunities that any of their peers get.
