About Andrea

Hi I'm Andréa. I'm caring, patient, creative, energetic and extremely passionate about what I do. My approach and interactions with children are unique due to my experience as a child who received services for learning disabilities. I didn't get the support I needed until college. I applied what I learned to myself. I learned the importance and power in self awareness, self advocacy, self reflection, self love and consistent self improvement. I have my masters and 4 NYS teacher certifications (special ed and general ed birth-grade 6), and 1 pending (special ed up to age 21). I have 10+ years experience teaching, tutoring and babysitting for various ages and needs. I spent 2 years living overseas teaching at an international school. Now I'm teaching at a local school district and seeking part-time positions for after work, evenings, and weekends. I offer babysitting, tutoring, sessions for building skills, learning how to learn and more. Please feel free to contact me about anything!
