I scheduled a meet-and-greet with this sitter so we could introduce her to our dogs and determine if she would be a good fit. Unfortunately, she attempted to cancel at the last minute. While I understand that unexpected situations can arise, reliability and communication are extremely important when it comes to pet care, so this was concerning. Additionally, she attempted to arrange the meeting outside of Care.com to avoid platform fees. This raised further concerns about professionalism and adherence to proper procedures. Because of these experiences, we decided not to move forward. I hope this feedback helps future clients make an informed decision.
