My parents had six kids, and I am the oldest daughter aka the second mom. Growing up I knew that all I wanted to do when I finished college was become a mom. In 1998 I accomplished both of these goals graduating college with a degree in special education and having my first son, John. I had my second son Alex , in 2004 and my third son Cass in 2006. Since I was a teacher and a single mom, I would take advantage of every school vacation and take in extra kids to babysit. Children always have been and always will be an extremely important part of my life and I firmly believe that one of the best things you can do for your child is to provide them with a loving caring caregiver when you are unable to be with them.
