About Andrea

Hello, my name is Andrea, and I am a first-year college student looking to support families with their care needs! I'd describe my personality as warm, responsible, and lifelong learner! I started working with kids during my junior year of high school when I returned to work at my local boys and girl club after being a member for 11 years. I was in charge of supervising different age groups ranging from 5-15 years old on field trips, recreational club activities, and more. Utilizing the experience I gained as a member in addition to practicing leadership, responsibility, and community-building, I was able to foster a safe and engaging community for the children I supervised. My top 3 child care skills would be clear communication and understanding, adaptability to challenges, and prioritizing the safety of those I take care of.
