About Andrea

Hello! My name is Andrea, but I go by Andie :) I recently completed a BS in Psychology, and took up a position as a behavioral program specialist at Cook Children's Medical Center. With this experience, I provide a calm, patient, and creative environment for kiddos. I am very experienced at deescalating behaviors and providing structure while still having fun. My goal is to make a meaningful, positive impact on your family's daily life. I am comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure consistency. Whether we are playing educational board games, exploring technology-based learning apps, or working on crafts, I prioritize active engagement. My BLS certificate was renewed this year, and I have additional psych related certifications if you are interested to hear about them. I adapt to your preferred communication style, whether through verbal updates at pickup or regular texts. I am also very comfortable around pets. I look forward to becoming a trusted part of your child's life.
