About Anawah

Hi! My name is Anawah (Ah-now-uh), and I am currently a college student pursuing a degree in Biology with a minor in chemistry. I joined Care. com to help support myself through school while continuing something that has always come naturally to me, caring for others. As the oldest of six children, I have been the "designated caregiver" in my family for as long as I can remember, and it has always been something that fills my cup. Additionally, I am a certified EMT with an active BLS CPR certification, regularly providing hands-on medical care and emotional support to individuals of all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics. And as a former children's swim instructor, I also learned exactly how to blend fun, active engagement with a strict, unwavering focus on safety. I often describe myself as having a "Type A" personality, meaning I am highly organized, dependable, and thrive on structure. I'd love the opportunity to connect, so don't be shy, I won't bite.
