About Rocio

Hi! My name is Rocio. I am 20 and am attending my local community college in hopes of pursuing a career as a child psychologist or psychiatrist. I am a reliable, honest and trustworthy person, with a passion for helping others and working with kids! As a middle child of 4, I have had to care for my siblings of currently 5 and 10 for about 5 years now. Apart from personal at home experience, I've taken courses in Childhood development as well as interned for a preschool/kindergarten, teaching and caring for children from the ages of 1 - 6 years. Last summer, I also had the opportunity to work as a Junior teacher at a non profit organization. Here I was able to teach 9th grade English to upcoming high schoolers, and learned how to create lesson plans and educational activities. Overall, I'm a pretty easygoing person, with a flexible schedule, excited about gaining more experience in the field I love!
