I was a substitute teacher for Norwescap Head Start from November 2008 until my amputation in January 2019. In June of 2019 I moved south to Little River SC. I am moving to Conway SC in May 2026. I currently work at Anchors Away CDC in Little River SC. I work well with children of all ages. Children of all ages need different activities to keep them occupied and I know many such activities that teach them a variety of skills. I have a prosthetic leg on my left side and no current leg for my right side. I am in a wheelchair but take care of children easily. Children are interested in exploring and investigating whenever possible. I have no problems answering questions and letting them learn about it. I have a 6-Year-old son who goes everywhere with me as I am a single mother. However he currently is in Kindergarten and will soon be at summer camp.
