I was a caregiver for a retired Army nurse who was unfortunately diagnosed with Parkinson's disease while she was on duty. I have about 4-5 years of care giving experience. I helped transfer her from wheelchair to bed or wherever she needed to be transferred to. Also helped with: - timely medicines; - light cooking and food prep; - some help with dressing and bathing; - light house cleaning; - organizing things such as bills, mail, budget, etc.; - ran errands - groceries, laundry, mail, doctor appointments, etc.; - computer help; and - companionship.
