I am Brazilian and arrived in the United States six months ago. I have 25 years of experience working with children with disabilities. Currently, I am in the process of having my Occupational Therapy certification recognized in the United States. I am the right choice because I possess extensive experience and am passionate about caring for children with special needs. I am seeking a job that allows me to help others, meet new people, and put my knowledge into practice. I began working with children in 2000, when I earned my degree in Occupational Therapy. Something you should know about me is that I served as an Occupational Therapy professor in Brazil for 20 years and have just completed my doctorate. Currently, I am learning English, and my proficiency level is still intermediate. My skills include training in activities of daily living, as well as implementing adaptations and providing stimulation to promote a child's independence.
