About Ana Rita

I am Brazilian, living in the U. S. for six months, as Green Card holder. I have 25 years of experience working with children with disabilities. Currently, I am in the process of having my occupational therapist certification recognized in the United States. Responsible, affectionate, and passionate about children. I have a lot of experience and I love caring for children with special needs. I'm looking for a job opportunity to help, meet people, and put my knowledge into practice. I started working with children in 2000, when I graduated in Occupational Therapy. In my free time, I like to listen to music, study English, and walk outdoors. I was an Occupational Therapy professor in Brazil for 20 years, and I have just completed my doctorate. I am in the process of learning English, attending ESL classes and my level is still intermediate. My skills include training in activities of daily living, as well as adaptation and stimulation to promote the child's independence.
