Hello I have have 30 plus years of experience working with children in the peninsula. I have had three children of my own. I have volunteered as a court appointed special advocate in the program in San Mateo County. I enjoy working with children because they remind me about the simplicity of life, and let me teach them how to grow. I am currently looking for a job with a minimum of 24 hours a week with 3 full 8 hour days this is ideal but I am willing to accommodate. My native language is Spanish and I have always worked with parents who are Monoligual English speakers. I have taught Spanish to the children I have cared for. I do used translate and also the help of my adult children when ever translation is needed. My usual duties have included: Grocery shopping Random errands Children's Laundry Cooking meals for children

We had the privilege of having Gloria as our son's nanny for two years, and we couldn't have asked for a more caring and loving caregiver. From day one, she made sure to nurture his growth and development in every possible way. Gloria taught him to share, be respectful, and always clean up after himself—values that have stuck with him even today. One of the highlights of her care was the nutritious meals she prepared, which he still loves. Gloria also made sure he had enriching experiences, taking him to fun activities around the neighborhood. So much so, that the library knew him by name and still remembers him fondly to this day. When it was time for him to start preschool, we were genuinely sad to say goodbye to Gloria. She became such an integral part of his life, and it was clear she had a deep love for him. If you're looking for someone who will treat your child like their own, we highly recommend Gloria. She’s simply amazing.
