About Ana

Ana took care of my mother, who was terminally ill with ALS, from November 2021 until October 2024. I can’t say enough amazing things about Ana and the care she provided my mother. Ana is kind, caring, sensible and capable; all things that lend well into caring for a loved one. Ana immersed herself into making sure my mom had the best care possible by keeping a busy of the latest medical techniques, ensuring everything that was going on with my mother was documented: from wound care, daily medication logs, daily stats, to settings in my moms various medical equipment. Ana also trained all other contracted caregivers to ensure that my mom received the best care from others in her Ana’s absence/days off. My mother was kept extremely clean, and always presentable-something my mother appreciated. Any medical professional that saw my mom, always commented on the fact she was the cleanest patient they ever worked with-even after my mother had passed, the hospice team mentioned that they never saw someone who was kept this well. Even when my mom was in the hospital/ICU, Ana made sure to stick to her side and make sure all of my mothers needs were met. Besides keeping my mom in physically good shape, Ana kept a happy demeanor in the house. She always has a smile on her face-and she kept my mom’s spirits high. I know Ana shared a deep bond with my mom, and I’ll be forever grateful for the time she spent with her, especially at the end. Besides caring for my mom, she was a great companion to my dad; always cooking dinner and doing housework, but also having conversations and creating a bond with my dad. I truly believe my mother wouldn’t have lived as long if Ana wasn’t in the picture. I will be forever grateful to Ana for the love and thoughtfulness she put into caring for my mom. Anyone would be extremely lucky to have Ana on their team.
