I have worked in the childcare field since I was just 13 years old. I started working in a children's summer camp as a junior counselor, that was for two years. Once I turned 15 I met the requirements to become a camp counselor. I worked in the summer camp that summer and the following school year I was offered a position as an associate teacher. I worked in a daycare center as an associate teacher for two years and got offered a position as the daycare administrative secretary. I worked as the administrative secretary for a year and got promoted to Office Manager. By this time I was only 18 years old and had a full-time job as Office Manager of a childcare center. I held this position for only a year and a half until the center was shut down and business declined. All employees lost their jobs and I decided to go to school and study to be a Pediatric Nurse. I am in my second year of nursing school and will graduate in 2016.
