Hello! I'm Ms. Anaiya I started working with kids about four years ago when I began my journey of studying Early Childhood Education at Howard University. I accepted a role as a part-time care giver for infants (04-12-month-olds) at an Early Development Preschool in Washington, DC. After which, I became a full-time teacher leading a classroom of five to seven toddlers (24-month-3-year-olds) at the same daycare. Most recently, I was a part-time live-in nanny of a 4-year-old child named Zen who had non verbal autism for a family in Fort Washington, MD. One thing you should know about me is that I'm very passionate about engaging young children with low stimulation activities like puzzles, decorating mood boards, reading and relaxing jazz music. I find myself teaching each child life skills such as cleaning up after themselves, emotional regulation and gentle play. I recently moved to NYC and am happy to help!
Anaiya was punctual, reliable, and very engaging with our two children (ages 10 and 4). She took them to the park, read with them, and kept them busy with fun activities. She also prepared both lunch and dinner, which we greatly appreciated. We highly recommend her as a caring and dependable nanny.
