About Ana Iris

Ana nannied our daughter from when she was 3 months old in 2022, until she was ready for pre-school in 2024, as part of a 2-child nanny-share. Ana was warm and kind off the bat, and our daughter took to her immediately. She talked with us about developmental milestones as our daughter grew, and was both knowledgeable and proactive about sleep training, baby-led weaning, socialization and potty training. We have appreciated here reliability and flexibility, working with both of our families to juggle appointments, illness, grandparents, and switching between houses as needed. She takes the kids to the park or library every day and encourages them to be active and social with other kids. She, along with other nannies in the area, have been tremendous in socializing our daughter and giving her a chance to make friends. Ana speaks, reads, and sings to the children in English and Spanish, and is always talking with them and teaching them new things about the world around them. Our daughter is always singing a new song, showing us a dance she learned from Ana, or surprising us with a new word or phrase she learned. When there were bumps or scrapes, or conflicts with other children, Ana let us know immediately. We never had any concerns about safety or availability while our daughter was in Ana's care. We were incredibly lucky to have Ana with us these past few years and recommend her as a nanny without any reservations.
