About Ana

I am a native Spanish speaker, born and raised in Colombia, with a professional background in Business Administration, marketing, and communications. I currently teach Spanish to children from Pre-K through 3rd grade and love creating engaging, age-appropriate ways for children to learn and build confidence in a second language. I can support elementary and middle school students with Spanish vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation, reading, homework, and overall language comprehension. As a mom of two, I understand that every child learns differently, and I believe learning is most effective when children feel comfortable, encouraged, and curious. My goal is not only to help students improve their Spanish, but also to make the language feel approachable, useful, and fun. I am available for tutoring at the student's home, online, or at a local library.
