I am a mother of two college-aged children, 18 and 21. I was a stay-at-home mom for 8 years and was a nanny for two children, brother and sister, 15 months and 3 years old, while at home. Once my kids started elementary school, I began volunteering at the school, in the class rooms and also substitute teaching. Eventually, I was hired as a full-time P. E., paraprofessional, then kindergarten paraprofessional, and then as a special education paraprofessional. I did this for 6 years, before going into the full-time workforce. My kids are now both away at college and I am an empty nester! I have a current background check and currently work from 6:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and have late afternoon and evenings and most weekends available, and can do last minute daycare for date nights or last minute travel plans. I can do overnight daycare on Friday and Saturday nights, or late night daycare any evening. I love children, and really miss the days when I cared for mine as well.
