I grew up with two bigger dogs, a Saint/Pit mix and a rescue lab mix. As my childhood dogs aged and developed health problems, I became comfortable giving them medicine and helping them around the house when needed. I have experience giving dogs shots and pills and caring for dogs with mobility issues. My parents have 2 rescues (a Saint Bernard and a Great Pyranese mix) and I also have recently rescued my own Lab mix! I am very experienced with rescues (or non rescues!) who may be on the more shy or reactive side and can be as patient as they need.
