About Ana

Ana was like a part of our family in the year that she cared for our mother before she passed away. Ana cared for our mother with kindness and respect, showing the competence to deal with a large range of care needs. Ana was always reliable and responsible and often picked up extra shifts or jumped in to help out when other caregivers could not come. Ana often did the night shift, and she always reacted quickly and put my mother’s needs first. Especially toward to end of our mom’s life, we knew we could rely on Ana to evaluate and respond to our mom’s needs and react in tenuous situations with good judgement. Ana always respected my mom’s wishes and supported and facilitated her autonomy. We felt very lucky to have met Ana and to have had her care for our mom.
