About Amy

I highly recommend Amy as an educator or private tutor. Amy was my son's second grade teacher and my colleague for three years. As an educator she is kind, patient, inclusive and effective. Her insight on how to help my son academically and behaviorally were spot on. Her astute observations of his unique challenges in the classroom, really helped me understand his behavior better. This led us to working on ways to help him in and out of the classroom. I have observed her teaching several times and always admired how she engaged her classroom. She had kids up working together in fun and creative ways and her kind demeanor helped to establish a safe environment for all students. As a colleague Amy was a team player and a respected faculty member who truly cared about her students and colleagues.
