About Amy

I am a pastor's wife and have served in ministry alongside my husband for almost two decades. I have worked with children from nursery age to youth. I am an educator by nature - whether serving as a Children's Church leader, Sunday School or VBS teacher, or a professional educator. I was a secondary math teacher for 15 years, a kindergarten teacher for 1 year, and homeschooled our daughter for 4 years. In recent years, I have provided in-home tutoring services ranging from teaching a preschooler to read to ACT prep. Children are "fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14). I love to see children thrive in their environment while learning. I recognize that families need quality time together. I am willing to help make that possible by providing light housekeeping, running errands, etc. My greatest accomplishment has been raising a daughter who is thriving as an independent, young married adult (23 yo) balancing work and grad school as she and her husband serve in ministry as well.
